Who We Are
 
    The La Gonâve Haiti Partnership is a community development project between the Episcopal Diocese of Haiti and United States partners focusing on:
        •Education,
        •Healthcare,
        •Nutrition,
        •Agriculture,
        •Water,
        •Economic opportunity.
 
    In 1989, the 10 Episcopal churches on the island of La Gonâve, Haiti formed a partnership with a variety of churches, organizations and individuals in the People-Based Community Health and Development Project, serving 50,000 people who live on the eastern half of the island and under the supervision of the Episcopal Priest in Charge – currently Père Soner Alexandre. The U.S. partners are ecumenical including: Episcopal, Anglican, Presbyterian churches; local Rotary chapters and Rotary International; non-profit organizations; foundations and private individuals.
 
Père Soner, the Episcopal Priest on La Gonave, administers the partnership.
